A bit about community low cost Reiki treatments.
Reiki sharings or sometimes called Reiki circles.
"Passing it forward" and helping others is a wonderful thing!
Community Offerings:
Some Reiki practitioners assist the community with what is called Reiki Sharings
or Reiki circles. Most are low-cost or donation-based treatments open to the public.
They may have a special focus group such as people coping with cancer, autistic children, PTSD, substance abuse, animal rescues, etc.
Many groups allow people to bring their children and pets for treatment as well. :)
Please always check with the organizer.
More and more hospitals have volunteer teams.
*Animals and children respond really well to energy medicine/ Reiki, as they are free of barriers.
In the Reiki 2 certification class, we include information how to set up Reiki community sharings.
When Laura travels, she checks "Meet Up Groups" of that area and joins in. She's attended them in various parts of the mainland and Hawaii. Every Reiki sharing is a little different. What the groups have in common is they bring loving people together that share the desire to help others. It's so cool to see the peace that it brings!
Finding a Reiki sharing group:
1-Do an internet search of your area for Reiki Sharing or Reiki Circles
2-Internet search " Meet-Up Groups" around your location ( This has been a very good source.)
2- Check online or in the phone book. Do we still have phone books?.. smile :) for local Reiki practitioners and ask them
3- Ask healing centers, metaphysical stores or spas.
